AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I LOVE THAT ALBUM NAME! I LOVE INCUBUS! I LOVE LOVE LOVE THEIR SONGSSSS!
I was trying to learn how to play Incubus - Echo on the guitar but looks like it won't be done anytime soon - partly due to me sucking at guitaring and the other half due to my schedule being so tighttt. Sometimes I hardly get time to even eattt. I'm in the school library right now.. Have to study for a chemistry quiz but like always, I'll just procrastinate and study in the class on my phone a minute before the quiz LOL.
anyyyyywaysss.. Here are a few songs I LOOOOVE by incubus:
That deep warm feeling when you listen to this song.. It's just out of this world. I don't know how to emphasize enough my love for this song. And on that note, I won't.
And THIS :
and obviously this :
ANDDD THIS:
I obviously have alot more, but I don't want to flood this post with videos!
The intricate details of the song where so many different individual sounds come together perfectly is just crazy. I always get goosebumps when I hear any song by Incubus. Specially the above four.
ANYWAYS.. So I HAD MY INDUCTION CEREMONY ON SATURDAY! OFFICIALLLYY A PHI THETA KAPPA MEMBER BUOYYZZZZZZ!!
IT WAS PRETTY GOOD! I was a little nervous about giving a speech infront of the crowd but Thankfully the new inductees didn't have to do it. They just announced our names as everyone cheered for us and we went on the stage to meet the president, all the chapter officers and their respective presidents etc and sign the membership book! WOOOOOOOOT! (I was thinking of putting up my picture here but I don't think alot of people do that [or do they?] so I'm not sure if that's okay)
Other than that, I went to a Pakistani wedding of my brother's friend. All I have to say is.. no one had any idea wtf was up. Me and my brother were the first ones on the venue (as you can always expect in weddings) and the groom's family came up to us asking my brother to organize everything. We sincerely thought that was a joke, but no. THEY ACTUALLY WANTED HIM TO ORGANIZE HALF OF THE STUFF. They were making up the whole game plan on the go! No one had ANY idea what to do which was VERY weird because when my sister got married, we prepared MONTHS in advance just to make sure everything goes perfectly fine on the big day so this all seemed very alienish. Thankfully, we knew the wedding would bore us to death hence we called over some of our friends, thanks to whom we were able to survive the night. HOWEVER, there was ONE thing that kept me going despite the sheer phaylness of everything: FOOD! I COULD NOT WAIT TO EAT I WAS STARVING TO DEAAAAATH (yes, I sometimes do go to weddings JUST for the food LOL) but very unexpectedly (because the groom was like SUPER RICH and I thought the menu would be crazy good), the food was.. well the food.. okay it was bad. It was cold and bland. but whatever I was really happy for the groom he looked extremely happy and so did the bride and in the end, watching them together made my day. We took a picture with them and left for Cafe Agora (which is our weekend hangout and ya'll have to check it out : Cafe Agora) but we realized that because it was Sunday and we all had work the next day, it was better to call it a night and rush home to sleep. SO my sunday wasn't as eventful as Saturday, but it was better than playing xbox all day and gardening (thanks to my mom, who's new hobby is to use me as a mexican (no racism, i love mexican folks) gardener all day long). OH SHIT BTW THAT REMINDS ME, I DID SOME GARDENING IN TEH FRONT YAAAARD ON SATURDAY TOO!
I dug up 3 inches of the above, put in some new top soil, then added the seeds, and then added more soil, and finally added mulch! I CANT WAIT FOR THE FLOWERS TO GROW! I think I'm beginning to like gardening LOL. Oh and because I was gardening after aaages, This is where my lawnmower slowly crept to amidst all the extra stuff filling up in the garage:
Can you spot it? :P
I guess I didn't get time to tell you guys that I have some weird hobbies. one of which is late night driving. I just looooooove to drive late at night when there's nobody on the road. No matter how much I drive in the day, I would love to drive at night! here are some pictures I took yesterday night just driving around (Sorry for the fuzzy/blurry pics, hard to shoot pics and drive at the same time :D)
aaah so soooothing. This + incubus = a good night sleep!
